INSILC Announces Council Nominee Submissions

January 10, 2024:  The INSILC Nomination committee announces ten INSILC Council Nominees submitted to Indiana Governor’s office for appointment.

Ten candidates have been given to Gov. Holcomb’s office for approval and appointment to the Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council.   The following individuals have been nominated.

We are excited and anxiously await the appointments and having new members on INSILC!

The INSILC Nominating Committee invites interested Hoosiers to join the Council.  The Council is looking for people with disabilities, parents and guardians of people with disabilities, advocates of and for people with disabilities, representatives from private businesses, and representatives from organizations providing services to people with disabilities.  Information on the process, application forms, and a job description can be found at the links below:
