Centers for Independent Living
Centers for Independent Living (Centers) are community‑based, nonprofit organizations run by and for people with disabilities. Serving individuals across all disability types, Centers are grounded in a philosophy of consumer control—meaning people with disabilities govern, staff, and shape the services they receive. Centers offer a range of supports, including peer support, information and referral, individual and systems advocacy, independent living skills training, and transition services, all designed to promote autonomy and full participation in the community.

Independent Living Resources
Indiana 211
Our Mission: To improve quality of life for Hoosiers by promoting equity and connecting people to health and human service resources through highly skilled navigators, continuous community collaboration and a robust community database and technological innovations.
FSSA Resource Guide
This FSSA resource guide is designed to help providers and community- and-faith-based organizations connect those who are in need with services we provide. It contains information about programs provided and administered by FSSA and gives direction on how Hoosiers qualify to receive assistance from a variety of programs. With greater understanding and awareness of the services FSSA provides, providers, advocates and faith- and humanitarian-based organizations can better employ these services to help rescue Hoosiers in crisis and improve the quality of life for all in our state.
A Single Source, A World of Possibilities
FINDER supports the right for people of all abilities to freely choose how they wish to live their lives to the fullest. It does not rate or endorse programs, services or organizations. It is up to each individual to decide if a resource fits their unique needs.
Family Employment First Coalition Resources
Members of the Family Employment First Coalition:
Composed of key family and disability advocacy organizations throughout the state, the mission of the Family Employment First Coalition is to collaboratively create meaningful change in the transition outcomes of young adults with disabilities who are seeking competitive integrated employment in Indiana.
